With fresh cranberry juice, orange liqueur and champagne, this cranberry mimosa is the perfect drink to start the holidays. It is easy to make and customizable for all tastes. Garnish with fresh cranberries, rosemary or sugared rims for a decorative touch.
I'm all about holiday cocktails - from a chocolate peppermint martini to an apple cider cocktail to a pumpkin martini.
But we want to start off the day right. And that's where this cranberry mimosa comes into play.
The colors alone just put you in the holiday spirit, but when you taste the cranberries and get a whiff of the fresh rosemary with every sip, you'll quickly realize you'll be having more than one.
It doesn't hurt that it just takes a few minutes to whip up. Cheers to the holidays!

Why You Will Love This Mimosa
- Simple to make with easy-to-find ingredients.
- Perfect for brunch, holidays or any celebratory occasion.
- Highly customizable with garnishes like fresh cranberries rosemary, or orange peels.
Ingredient Notes
- Cranberry juice - Use 100% cranberry juice for a tart and authentic flavor. Sweetened cranberry juice cocktail works if you prefer a less tart profile.
- Orange liqueur - Adds a citrusy depth to the drink. My go-to is Grand Marnier. Cointreau or Triple Sec works well too.
- Champagne - Dry Champagne (Brut) balances the tartness of the juice. For a sweeter option, use Prosecco or Moscato.
- Fresh cranberries and rosemary - Optional garnishes that adds a festive and decorative touch.
Making Mimosas for a Crowd
Depending on the size of your champagne glasses, you can get anywhere from 8-12 servings with one bottle of champagne.
However, never premix in a pitcher as you mess with the natural carbonation of the champagne. Just make individually.
