Ingredients

  • 1 (15 oz can) pumpkin puree
  • 4 cups apple cider, cold
  • 2 cups orange juice, cold
  • 1 cup spiced rum
  • 2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 bottle champagne, chilled (750 ml)
  • 1 (12 oz bottle) cream soda, chilled
  • cranberries, sliced apples and cinnamon sticks for garnish

Instructions

  • In a large bowl or pitcher, whisk together the pumpkin puree, apple cider, orange juice, rum and pumpkin pie spice until the pumpkin has dissolved.
  • Add the champagne and cream soda, stirring to combine.
  • Garnish with some cranberries, apples and cinnamon sticks if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Keep the non-alcoholic components (pumpkin puree, juices, cream soda) well-chilled before mixing the punch. This helps maintain a refreshing temperature when serving.
  • If preparing ahead of time, don't mix in the champagne and cream soda until right before serving so you keep the carbonation.
  • Chill the glasses in the freezer or refrigerator before serving to keep the punch cold for longer. You can use ice as well.
  • Be creative with garnishes. You want something that adds visual appeal or extra flavor like whipped cream, cinnamon sticks or additional fruit.
