Limoncello Martini

With limoncello, vodka, honey and fresh lemon juice, this limoncello martini is a like drinking lemon candies.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz vodka
  • 2 oz limoncello
  • 1 oz honey
  • ½ oz lemon juice
  • lemon peel for garnish

Instructions

  • Combine vodka, limoncello and lemon juice in cocktail shaker with ice. Microwave honey for 5 seconds and add to shaker.
  • Shake for 20 seconds and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a lemon peel.

Notes

  • Freshly squeezed lemon juice makes all the difference. Don't use store-bough lemon juice.
  • Make sure you heat the honey so it mixes easily.
  • You can substitute honey with with simple syrup.
  • If you want even more citrus flavor, use citrus vodka.
