1. All-purpose flour 2. Granulated sugar 3. Baking powder 4. Ground nutmeg 5. Salt 6. Eggnog 7. Egg 8. Unsalted butter 9. Vanilla extract 10. Powdered sugar
In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
In another bowl mix together eggnog, egg, butter and vanilla extract and whisk until combined.
Add eggnog mixture to flour and stir until just combined.
Pipe or spoon the batter evenly in the donut pan. Bake at 400°F for 8-10 minutes or until stick comes clean.
In small bowl that is wide enough to dip donuts, add powdered sugar, eggnog and and vanilla extract and mix until combined.
Dip eggnog donuts in glaze and sprinkle a small amount of nutmeg over each.
1. You can spoon the batter into the donut pans, but the easiest way to get the batter in the pan is by using a pastry bag or Ziploc bag with the corner cut off. 2. You will know the donuts are done when a toothpick comes out clean. 3. Let the eggnog donuts cool completely before you dip them in the glaze.
