INGREDIENTS

1. Corned beef 2. Unsalted butter 3. Sweet onions 4. Garlic 5. All-purpose flour 6. Guinness beer 7. Beef stock 8. Dijon mustard 9. Worcestershire sauce 10. Fries 11. Cheese curds

Step 1

Place corned beef in slow cooker. Add just enough water where beef is covered. Add spice packet. Cook on high for 8 hours. Shred.

Step 2

Melt butter in medium sauce pan over medium heat. Add onions and cook for 5 minutes. Add garlic and flour and cook another minute.

Step 3

Add the Guinness, chicken stock, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce.

Step 4

Bring to boil and then simmer for 10 minutes, until it starts to thicken. Adjust taste with salt and pepper.

Step 5

Bake fries. Add 2 cup fries to bowl, then ½ cup cheese curds and ½ cup corned beef. Repeat and add 1 cup gravy or more if you desire.

Pro Tips

1. Replace the water with Guinness beer for even more flavor when cooking corned beef. 2. Just use frozen fries. No need to make your own. 3. Stack the ingredients in layers so you have cheese and beef in every bite.
