Ingredient Notes
- Mini pretzels - the base for the pizza bites.
- Sharp cheddar cheese - you can also use another cheese like mozzarella if you prefer.
- Pepperoni - thick, thin or even turkey pepperoni works.
- Parmesan cheese - more cheese is never a bad thing. Adds a little nutty flavor as well.
- Italian parsley - adds some freshness.
Step-by-Step Photos
Place the pretzels on a parchment-lined baking sheet and top with a slice of cheddar cheese and pepperoni.
Bake for 10-15 minutes at 350°F or until the cheese is melted. Top with some Parmesan.
Type of Pretzel to Use
Just use some mini pretzels as it will make a ton and you can easily hold in your hand. However you can use larger pretzels with bigger slices of cheese and pepperoni if you want.
Pro Tips/Recipe Notes
- Cut the sharp cheddar cheese where it is just larger than the pretzels so it melts over it.
- User thick slice pepperoni so you get more pepperoni flavor.
- Use freshly grated Parmesan to top the pretzels. Never buy pre-shredded Parmesan cheese as it contains wood pulp. Blocks of Parmesan cheese are also cheaper.
